Background:

Begin Health, a trailblazer in gut health products for kids, had been in business just over a year when they partnered with Stimulate. Their previous agency set up basic email and SMS campaigns, but the approach wasn’t strong enough to encourage repeat purchase or increase customer lifetime value. To help Begin Health grow quickly, we created a retention strategy based on three main focus areas:

Post-Purchase Automations

We implemented strong post-purchase emails and texts to guide new parents on using the product effectively, emphasize the importance of sticking with it for at least six weeks, and encourage reorders at the right time using historical transactional data.

Subscription Growth

We improved email and SMS messages to highlight the perks of subscribing, which led to more sign-ups and increased customer value over time. We also modified the welcome offer to prioritize subscription sales, leading to massive subscription growth.

Segmentation & Personalization
